Dragon Well from Mei Jia Wu Village "Special"
| The classic class of Dragon’s well tea from the village of Mei Jia Wu is an entirely typical Dragon’s well, which lacks nothing of the perfection described by the master Lu Yu in his Classic book of tea (Cha Ching). The tea is characterised by a rich, light to dark green colour, the taste is sweet with nutty variations, the aroma is intensive with floral sub-tones, and the shape of the leaves is typically flat and narrow. There is a large quantity of various types of teas bearing the name Dragon Well available on the market, but they frequently originate from regions which have nothing in common with the origin of this tea. Some manufacturers process ordinary green tea in the same manner as that by which Long Jing is processed, nevertheless of the above four attributes they gain only the colour and shape and are unfortunately indistinguishable on first glance. Teas from the village of Mei Jia Wu are always a guarantee of quality of traditional Long Jing teas. |

| Prepare tested water for the tea infusion with which you have experience, or use ordinary tap water which has been left standing for a sufficient period, preferably overnight, ideally rid of chlorine. Rinse the teapot and cups with hot water. Use approx. 2g of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for each 150ml of infusion or to taste. Brew the necessary quantity of tea in hot water at a temperature of 75-85°C for a period of 1 minute for the first and second infusions. With further infusions progressively extend the brewing time. |
