Tie Guan Yin class "A"
| This Tie Guan Yin is an upper medium class tea, with a good quality to price ratio. This freshly aromatic tea is formed into neat, pure nuggets, which are a guarantee of the stable properties over a longer time of correct storage. The honey-fragrant infusion has a rich, greenish-yellow colour, which is retained even with further infusions. Class “A” tea is more parched than "Superior" and "Supreme" classes. |

| Prepare tested water for the tea infusion with which you have experience, or use ordinary tap water which has been left standing for a sufficient period, preferably overnight, ideally rid of chlorine. Rinse the teapot and cups with hot water. Use approx. 3g of tea leaves (2 teaspoons) for each 150ml of infusion or to taste. Brew the necessary quantity of tea in hot water at a temperature of 85-90°C for a period of 3-5 minutes for the first and second infusions. With further infusions progressively extend the brewing time. For a full flavour it is necessary for the leaves to unfurl entirely. |
