New teas from Vietnam in our catalog

Over the course of last year we attempted to find the best representatives of Vietnamese teas. You can now find three new teas from Vietnam in our offer. These are a classic OP class black tea originating from the mountainous north of Vietnam, a superb organic high mountain green tea of the Shan variety, which grows in the virgin environment of the Vietnamese mountains in the Tua Chua region in the province of Lai Chau, and the third tea is a typical excellent Phu Tho lotus Oolong, whose unusual aroma cannot be mistaken for any other tea.

The "Herbal Tea" catagory has been populated with Indian blend Chai Masala. The term Chai Masala can be loosely translated from the original Hindi as “spiced tea”. In the case of our Chai Masala this is a black Assam TGFOP tea, with an addition of cinnamon, hawthorn leaves, pieces of ginger, clover, black pepper, cardamom and a range of other ingredients. Chai Masala strengthens the human immune system, in winter is capable of warming the organism, and always succeeds in inducing a good mood.

Try this year’s first Japanese organic tea Sencha Sincha and other fresh Japanese organic teas which we have prepared for you. All originate from the Uji region in the province of Kyoto, which is the oldest and original locality for the cultivation of Japanese green teas. If you visit an organic and ordinary tea farm during the summer months, you will immediately discover that an organic farm lives together with its ecosystem, whilst an ordinary farm attempts to control its ecosystem. Japanese organic certification guarantees that all teas have been produced by a purely natural method, free from the influence of man.

Tea music in our catalogue

Tea music dates back to an age many centuries ago. Tea gatherers have always sung while they worked and do so to this day, and music gives them energy and strengthens their spirit during mechanical, constantly repetitive work. The songs most frequently celebrate the tea itself or people from its immediate vicinity. A whole range of wonderful verses and melodies have emerged from the ranks of tea gatherers. Tea has become a theme for musicians in all ages, and can be found for example in the instrumentation of the musical song Tea for Two by Dmitri Shostakovich “Tahiti Trol”, Štěpán Rak’s guitar song In Praise of Tea, Afternoon Tea Serenade by Sharon O’ Connor or Sting’s “ I don’t drink coffee, I take tea, my dear” from his song Englishman in New York. This new category in our catalogue offers music which can harmonically enrich your tea experience and attempts to present tea to you in a slightly different light. The category of Tea music opens with 8 titles, and shall be extended further.

These are the Chinese alternative to the Japanese powdered Matcha tea, which is used abundantly in the Japanese Chanoyu tea ceremony, and the instant green tea from Zhejiang.
